Spring break was a blast! lol it was a long time ago, and im barely writing about it, but it was fun. i went to walla walla with some guy friends and hung out in wal-mart and went to the Mongolian bbq (i'll never admit to this, but it was actually kinda good, and i hate Asian food...:P) I watched some movies at Vicki's and with her and Cory. Spaceballs and Wayne's World are some of the most pointless movies that i've ever seen...lol but funny. Then Vicki's boyfriend came up and we walked around Dayton and went up on a hill overlooking it, but we were so cold so we went to my house and played guitarhero (which i suck badly at) and apples to apples. It was super fun :)

What else has happened? Oh, we've started marching in band, and that is a joke. Seriously, its terrible...i miss Mrs. Rundell... the only reason i don't quit is because i love playing the trumpet too much and i want that shiny plaque that says i've been in band 4 years when i graduate. :D

It was so warm the beginning of this week and now its windy and kind of cold...but at least its green outside! only 25 days til my birthday! :) and i cannot wait until summer! i plan on making it the best summer of my life. Track season is halfway through, and i like being manager; i don't really have to do much and i have somewhere to be and something to do. Vicki threw 82 feet at the last meet for Javelin, which is pretty good, so she'll probably make it to districts. It was really funny watching her try discus for the first time yesterday, but she was actually getting pretty good.

My parents finally broke down and bought a Wii...They are so addicted, my dad being the worst of them...lol it is fun to play for a little while, but i'm never home and don't have enough time to play mostly. I really hate speeches to, and i have to do one on Monday...:( i'm so tired of school and cant wait until its out! it seems like i cant concentrate with it being sunny out, i just want to be outside and be doing something and free from the responsibility of homework and trying hard...

Crazy

Wow, this week has been so busy. On Monday we started track, Tuesday night i had Honor Band practice in Asotin (2 hours away from Dayton), Wednesday i was inducted into Honor Society, and yesterday i actually had Honor band practice all day in Colfax and the concert at night. It was long and tiring, but it sounded so amazing to be a part of a 45 person band with all the instruments, including the bass clarinet that sounds so cool :P and it turned out really well. So today i was not going to school because i haven't slept in a long time and need to study for my tests and relax some. Its been a crazy week for me.
Tomorrow is the stake dance we're in charge of and i have to WASL test all next week...Vicki's birthday is the 18th and prom is the 21st. Apparently i'm doing her hair, though i don't know where she dreamed up that idea. Her dress is so pretty! :)

Update

So it's been awhile...

Christmas break was wonderful, besides the fact I was sick ALL Christmas day :( I went to the movies twice and saw Marley and Me, (which is NOT a comedy, I don't care what anyone says. It is incredibly sad, something I would not take small children to, but it was good), and then Twilight New Year's day with some of my friends, after staying up until 4:30 a.m. that morning. We had a Mutual party for New Year's eve, which was probably the most fun I've ever had at a New Year's party.

I got my hair cut and highlighted with blonde awhile back, while skipping school (he he :P) I managed to pull my grades up a bit and get a C+ and the rest A's, so I have a GPA of 3.738. I don't know how I ever think I'll be able to get into Running Start...I really hate Math...

So Mom has been working a lot lately, at Kadlec in Tri-Cities, training for CT, and here in Dayton. She seems to enjoy it. I still don't know what I am going to do for a job.

Today is Reed's first Pinewood Derby. He seems like he has a lot of faith in his car, burgundy and gold #8. I hope it goes good.

Tonight is Senior Night, our last home basketball game (thank heavens!) Then it's on to districts, and maybe state, though I'm kinda doubting it. No way for our boys, but the girls have been doing pretty well this season, so we'll see.

Oh! I got into EFY! I'm so excited, even if it is only me and Vicki going from here this year...

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow...

Wow, its almost Christmas! And it looks like it will be a white one with all the snow we're getting. Its really been dumping today, we've gotten at least 8-9 inches on top of our foot and a half, give or take. Obviously they canceled school today, which was nice. Hopefully they cancel it tomorrow also so i get out of taking tests and giving a presentation that i am nowhere near prepared for.

The flip side to this is that we are not done Christmas shopping yet, and the roads are bad. We are pretty much stuck at home, out of town, far from major shopping areas. We are not prepared, and i want to be able to get to Tri-Cities Monday! Then my annoying hair can be chopped off because it is being a pain.

In the meadow, we can build a snowman...:)

...snow...

The first snow of the year came on the 13th, last Saturday morning. A whole whopping amount of about a foot to a foot and a half. The boys played in it all day and then some of Sunday with their friends. It is now exactly 1 degree outside right now, freezing cold! Way too cold for me, and it's only supposed to get colder...:( with more snow and storms...Its times like these that make me appreciate the pioneers more. I am so glad that i have a toasty warm house and clothes. :)
Well, the skiers are happy. Bluewood is opening on Wednesday because of all of the snow. We also had a 2 hour delay today. Why don't we just cancel school and have an early Christmas break for 3 weeks? lol

TWILIGHT!!!

TWILIGHT COMES OUT IN 9 DAYS!!! soooooo excited!!! it is AMAZING!!!

Other than that...Clint has braces now, and Reed has a retainer. Reed talks funny now, and can't say his S's real well. I remember those days...they were not pleasant. But I have straight teeth now, so it was worth it.

Friday was our Veteran's Day assembly, that I got dragged into playing Taps for. I had never played it before that morning, and I was SO nervous, I was shaking and my stomach hurt. I never imagined that would be my first solo. I also sang the Star Spangled Banner with a small group of people.

We had another 4 day weekend. It was kind of lame, besides getting to sleep more and not having to get up for seminary at 5:15 in the morning. This Saturday is a stake dance, so hopefully will be fun. I haven't gone to one of those since July, and I'm kinda missing it...:( I also have to sing earlier with my choir group. We're singing the Phantom of the Opera medley, and O Sifuni Mungu.

Football season is over. We only won one game.
That's pretty much it.

HOMECOMING WEEK!!!

This week was our homecoming week, and it was a blast! Our Spirit days were opposite gender day, Harley Davidson day, roll out of bed day, next top model day, and crimson and gold day. They were so fun to dress up for, even if it was my last year to be crazy. It makes me sad because homecoming week is always my favorite week...

Us sophomore/juniors lost powderpuff against the senior/freshmen, 40- 0. Yeah, i didn't play, and our team barely had enough people playing. Plus you just can't beat the seniors...even though we almost did in tug of war and stud volleyball...my class dominates : ). We got 2nd overall this week in all the competitions.

The funniest, most unsuspected thing happened...WE WON OUR HOMECOMING GAME!!!! That may not seem like a big deal, but it is...our team, is terrible...sorry, its the truth...we haven't won a game this year, and the most points we've had were 7, but mostly the games have ended, oh, 32- 0, 44- 0, 63- 0... But we scheduled our game with the worst team they could find, and we actually won! 28- 14! It was a nice change to see our football players dancing, and running, and laughing and screaming all over the field, instead of being all depressed.

Yeah, it was fun...and the dance is tonight, but i'm not going!!! lol
